Bookings: Our Spa is open to non-hotel guests for spa days only. Single treatments are available exclusively for hotel guests.
Full payment is required at the time of booking. We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to amend or cancel your appointment. Cancellations or no-shows with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur the full booking cost. If you need to reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible.
Payment will be taken from your card at the time of booking, whether through our Spa reservations team or online.
If you are using a gift voucher, please book by calling our reservations team on 01271 882243. Present your voucher to the Spa team on arrival. The voucher will be redeemed against your booking if you cancel or amend with less than 48 hours’ notice.

Prices: The Spa reserves the right to adjust prices and subscriptions, which are reviewed on an annual basis.
Swimming Pool Access and Timings: For our current swim schedule, please visit the page on our website or speak to reception. Book a swimming pool slot via a QR code link in your room or by speaking to the reception.
Children: Children must be accompanied by an adult and may use the pool during designated family swim times, as shown on our pool timetable. These times are subject to change, and booking is required.
Young people in the Spa: The Sauna and Steam Room are suitable only for those aged 16 years or over.
Etiquette: Appropriate swimwear and fitness attire must be worn at all times. Robes and towels are provided. Guests displaying inappropriate behaviour may be asked to leave by a member of our team.
Safety Regulations: The floor may be slippery when wet—please take care. Enter the pool slowly using the steps. Sauna and steam room visits should be limited to a maximum of 15 minutes, and prolonged use is not recommended. Any foot infections, such as verrucas, must be appropriately covered at all times. Water is available—please stay hydrated. Before leaving the pool area, it is recommended to take a cool shower to help lower your body temperature.
General Use and Hygiene: Glass items are not permitted in the pool or surrounding areas, and all jewellery should be removed. Sandy Cove Spa operates a strict no-smoking policy. Running, diving, or jumping in the pool areas is not allowed. Please follow all signage throughout the Spa.
Sandy Cove Spa is committed to providing an environment that promotes wellbeing and relaxation. To ensure everyone enjoys this atmosphere, we ask that guests adhere to the following expectations:
Hygiene: All bathers must shower thoroughly in the changing rooms before entering the pool area. A poolside showers is available between the sauna and steam room. Long hair should be tied back, and a towel must be used when sitting in the sauna.
Classes: All classes must be booked in advance using our online system, up to 7 days ahead. If you are unable to attend, please cancel online or, if you experience any issues, call us on 01271 882243 so that your space can be offered to another customer. Repeated no-shows without proper cancellation may result in a temporary suspension of your ability to book classes.
Customer Behaviour: We reserve the right to refuse entry to any guest who, in our opinion, disrupts or inconveniences other users of the facilities.
Parking: Car parking is free for all Sandy Cove customers.
Maintenance: From time to time, certain Spa facilities may be closed for routine or emergency maintenance. For scheduled maintenance, we will notify you via email, our Facebook page, and at Reception. In the event of unexpected closures, we will make every effort to minimize any disruption to your experience.
Liability: Sandy Cove Spa and Wellness accepts no liability for any accident or injury, including fatality, to any guest occurring on the Spa or hotel premises, except where such liability arises from the negligence of Sandy Cove Spa and Wellness or its staff. All accidents should be reported immediately to a member of staff.
Personal Details: Any personal information you provide will be recorded and handled in accordance with current GDPR regulations.
Force Majeure: Sandy Cove will not be considered in breach of these terms and conditions if there is a delay in, or failure to, perform any obligations under them, where such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond the Spa’s control. This includes, but is not limited to, acts of God, explosions, actual or suspected terrorist attacks, floods, fire or accidents, war or threats of war, sabotage or civil unrest, government or local authority restrictions, import or export regulations or embargoes, and industrial actions or trade disputes.
Quality Assurance: Your satisfaction is very important to us. While we strive to get everything right, we welcome your feedback if improvements are needed. Please speak to a member of staff immediately so we can resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
If you wish to raise a concern or make a formal complaint, we treat it with the utmost seriousness and will handle it professionally. We review all feedback regularly to continuously enhance your experience. We aim to respond to all issues within 24 hours. When submitting a complaint, please include your contact details, including your email, and a brief outline of the concern. We will endeavour to resolve any issues within a reasonable timeframe.
